THE COORDINATION PROGRAM

The coordination program means that the parents of the children with development disorders contact psychologistes, and the ATMA CONSULTING involves itself in the coordination of their activity.
What we want to point out is the principle according to which children which are placed in an environment as natural and less restrictive (in which it is supposed that the child can learn and function efficiently - for example: social interaction places, familiar surroundings, etc) will not obtain significant results. This is why it is recommended that the intervention is to be applied in an educational environment with strict rules and in which are avoided, as much as possible, subjective attitudes, in respecting behavioral principles; this being valid until the child learns special abilities regarding relations within familiar circles.
The program shall offer intensive behavioral therapy for the required intensity level, resulted from evaluation, taking into account the needs and psychological characteristics of the child. Clinical supervision shall be done by a qualified psychologist. The family contracts a clinic psychologist or another specialist in the field which shall go through certain training sequences within our association, to be able to offer high quality services for your child.
Private psychologistes will be able to work only in the case in which they fulfill ethical and professional standards imposed by the ATMA CONSULTING and shall apply the individualized intervention plan conceived by us. A constant monitoring of the children's result, of the implementing of the personalized intervention program and of the individual results of each member of the psychologist team shall be provided.
The parents will be involved in the child's program, in the sense that they will learn how to interact with their children, so that they can control the behavior of their children and to have rewarding and significant interaction with them. Regarding the responsibility of results obtained by the child within the coordination program, this belongs both to the association as well as the parents. .
